Why there is no form
A contact form would collect your name, your email address and your message, and it would have to send them somewhere. That means processing personal data, which is precisely what we have promised this site does not do. Rather than break the promise for a marginal convenience, we give you the address and let your own email client do the work. Your message then sits in our inbox and nowhere else.

Please include the page address and the passage concerned. Corrections are welcome from anyone and are handled under our corrections procedure.

If a commercial link on this site is missing its disclosure, tell us. That is a defect and we will fix it.
Legal or press enquiries
Same address. Please say in the subject line what it concerns so it is not mistaken for correspondence about an article.
What we cannot help with
We are an independent publisher, not a retailer and not a software vendor. We cannot help with:
- Your subscription, licence key, billing or invoice with any vendor named on this site.
- Cancelling a subscription or claiming a refund — that is between you and the vendor, under the vendor’s terms.
- Technical support for any product. We do not have access to any vendor’s systems or your account.
- Recovering an infected or compromised device.

Response times
We aim to acknowledge correspondence within five working days. Requests under the GDPR are answered within one month, as Article 12(3) requires, and we will tell you if a complex request needs the permitted extension.
